Forte Commodities Limited recently demonstrated its commitment to sustainable agriculture and community support through a generous donation to the Ghana Prisons Service at the Forte Camp Prisons in Accra. This initiative is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at promoting safe agricultural practices and enhancing the productivity of prison farms.
The donation included several pairs of Wellington boots and bags of organic fertilizers, essential tools that will significantly aid in the cultivation of organic produce within the prison farms. The Wellington boots will provide necessary protection for the prison farm workers, ensuring their safety while working in the fields. The organic fertilizers, in line with Forte Commodities’ emphasis on organic farming, will enhance soil fertility and boost crop yields without harming the environment.
Our focus on sustainable agriculture is driven by the need to foster practices that not only increase productivity but also preserve the health of our ecosystem. By providing these organic inputs, we aim to support the Ghana Prisons Service in its efforts to implement safer and more productive farming methods.
Mr. Felix Opare, CEO of Forte Commodities Limited, stated
“We believe that sustainable agriculture is the cornerstone of a healthier and more productive society. Our contribution to the Ghana Prisons Service is a testament to our commitment to fostering safer agricultural practices and enhancing productivity through organic farming.”
Mr. Felix Opare
The Ghana Prisons Service expressed its gratitude for the donation, highlighting the positive impact it will have on their agricultural programs. This partnership underscores the importance of collaboration in achieving sustainable development goals and promoting agricultural practices that benefit both people and the planet.
